The basics

So...some top savings of the moment:
Tesco have buy 2 get one free on all Rimmel products
38p Radox deodrant at Boots - may not be a luxury but thing, save that £1.50 or so means you can spend it somewhere else...
A new discovery on Ebay - if you love your bedhead products (you know the ones, funky coloured, funky shaped bottles, amazing hair care...!) and are willing to make an initial spend in order to save...check out the gallon bottles of shampoo and conditioner, my particular favourite being Dumb Blonde (not just for blondes :P) it's for dry, damaged and coloured hair. Try searching "Dumb Blonde Gallon"...should bring up the right results (on ebay and for your hair!).
And speaking of Bed Head - check our your local TK Maxx, probs near the perfume and stuff - that'll save you a few pounds on these amazing potions (Hey, somewhere for that £1.50 you saved from the deodrant to go!)
If you're lucky enough to have a market near you (hello there anyone from Leicester like mee...) check out the makeup stalls there - can't guarantee where they got that shiz from (off the back of a lorry, cough) but it's the same stuff you get from Boots - I got a couple of Urban Decay Eyeshadows at 3 quid each...SCREAMS!
TopShop appear to have a sale on...Loving the three quarter length sleeved shirt/top/thingys with the buttons down the front - a variety of colours, great for casual, reduced to £7! Oh yes!

And finalement...tea dresses, those cute flowery things that remind us of jam and cream on scones in the back garden on a warm summers day (I wish) - there's one in primark that's way nicer than the one in topshop, and i'm sure it's way nicer than any by the top designers...get it now before everyone does, then at the very least you have the "I got it first" feeling. It's pretty :)

Fiurst Things First

by fashionbash @ 2008-04-29 - 16:26:15

There's so many fashion blogs out there I'm trying to make this one a little different. Not everyone has a grand to splash out on Gucci, much as we want to...
But let's show our appreciation for the high street!
My aim with this blog is to provide useful advice on saving money...for those who find it difficult! By this I don't mean cut your shopping (God no, How would we all cope?! On these miserable days...where's the sun?! we need a bit of retail therapy to keep us afloat!), I just want to show there are ways in reducing the cost, you just have to work a little bit - thought muggings here has decided to make it a bit easier for all of you...
We're mainly aiming at those addicted to shopping, fashion and makeup - and all comments are welcome - if you yourselves have any tips then that would be great.
Subscribing to this blog will mean:
- One blog a day full of tips on saving money, exciting fashion ideas, beauty tips...all with one thing in mind, we are not millionaires!
- Some little secrets and savings I may have recently discovered.
- Ideas on how to use the internet to get all your must have products at a discounted price.

Welcome.

We read the magazines.
We browse the shops.
We watch the TV programmes (What Not To Wear = What Not To Watch).
But most of us don't have £500 spare for a pair of socks, or £1009.99 for some miracle lotions and potions.
